Nina Bignell
I had no background in dance before starting pole, only several years in track and field. After a few years hiatus from that I joined a pole dance class and I haven’t looked back since. I’ve dabbled in various disciplines, but my true passion is pole (with some aerial hoop mixed in.) I’ve found it can be a journey to finding your own style and movement and I am committed to supporting the development of individualistic movement styles. One of the things I’ve noticed with pole is it is open for a diverse range of people to join. For neurodiverse people like myself and for body shapes of all sizes. I am committed to showing to the world you absolutely can do this; and this is why I’ll be teaching the Curvy Girl Pole Class for Beginners.
Outside of pole I support people in the community, and teach adult learners regularly. I bring my expert knowledge of adult learning theories to my pole practice to ensure students are taught within their limits and can optimise their learning in class.
I teach Wednesday evenings Curvy Girl Pole Class for Beginners and am available for beginner level pole fitness privates.
