I began training in aerial skills during the third year of my contemporary dance degree at Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance. After training in aerial for just over one year, I completed my first contract as an aerial silk artist in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, a PHA pantomime production. From there I went on to perform two seasons in Spain with Spectacular Entertainment as a dancer/aerialist and two seasons touring the UK with James Richards Circus as the aerialist. Alongside these long-term contracts, I have performed at festivals, nightclubs, corporate events and hotels across the UK and abroad.
I have trained at school in London, the midlands, across the UK and abroad in places such as Colombia, I like to draw on all the information I have taken from these experiences and bring them together for well-rounded information in my classes.
I came to aerial training at a difficult time in my life and the process of falling in love with the equipment and achieving new things regularly really changed my life. This is my passion, my hobby and my job. I absolutely love to teach others, to help them achieve new levels of skill, strength and flexibility. My classes are always full of energy, enthusiasm and positive mental attitude! I believe in developing a good knowledge in technique and understanding of why things work, the more you understand the more scope you have explore and find something new and unique. I love to see students achieve new things and progress week on week, lets get going with those progress pictures and videos!
I teach regular aerial hoop, aerial silks and aerial lollipop classes, Spanish web workshops and offer private lessons in silks, hoop, lollipop, static trapeze, contortion.
