Addictive Circus Arts Academy for Kids

ADDICTIVE CIRCUS ARTS ACADEMY FOR YOUTHS (age 5-14 yrs) 🎪🤹🏻‍♀️ . . .
Let your little ones (and not so little ones) run away and join the circus for a day 😉 A monthly 4-hour circus class for kids age 5 to 14 that offers an incredible mix of aerial and ground skills such as trapeze, aerial silks, aerial lollipop, aerial hoop, aerial LED sphere, pole, flying pole, juggling, hula hoops, poi, slackline, spinning plates, floorwork and more (the skills will be varied each month but will always include a mix of aerial and ground skills).
A fantastic way to enhance their physical abilities, including strength, flexibility, and coordination. It also provides an excellent opportunity for emotional growth by boosting confidence and fostering friendships among the participants; a well-rounded and enriching experience for youths!
Parents are welcome to stay and watch part or the entire session if they choose or you can drop off and then collect at the end of the session.
Our circus academy is open to non-students as well as Addictive Fitness students and suitable for children age 5 to 14 yrs, all levels welcome from complete beginners to budding aerialists.
£30 per child for 4 hours of circus fun.

Spring Choreography Workshops

Friday 28th March, Friday 18th April & Friday 23rd May 2025
7pm – 8.30pm

We are now offering special monthly choreography workshops at Addictive Fitness with a different focus each time.

Please see the x3 workshops for Spring 2025 below:

Feather Flow Choreography – Friday 28th March: In this special workshop, you will learn a silky smooth flow style choreography, with the extra added special touch of feathers around the base of the pole, which we will use to enhance the choreography. 

Slinky Floorwork Friday 18th April: This workshop is pure floorwork choreography which will tap into your slinky, sultry side.
 
Kippy Kinda Choreo – Friday 23rd May: In this workshop, you will learn a high energy choreography incorporating lots of drops, kips, bangs and clacks, to music. 

All workshops are on MindBody to book, with more details of what each workshop will entail in the class description.

All workshops are 7:00pm – 8:30pm and are open/mixed level.

Aerial Chains Workshop

⛓️ AERIAL CHAINS WORKSHOP ⛓️
Aerial chains are a unique circus act that enables you to perform cool tricks, transitions and sequences on two loops of chains hung from above.
It may not be the most comfiest apparatus but we guarantee you will be OBSESSED by the time you leave us!
This workshop is open to non-students as well as Addictive Fitness students. Limited spaces that will sell out quickly so book now 😉

Kids Easter Holiday Circus and Aerial Camps

16th, 18th, 23rd & 25th April 2025
10am – 3pm 🎪🤹🏻‍♀️

Our Easter Circus and Aerial Camps are now live to book:
✅ Wednesday 16th April, 10am-3pm
✅ Friday 18th April, 10am-3pm
✅ Wednesday 23rd April, 10am-3pm
✅ Friday 25th April, 10am-3pm
A day full of fun for kids age 5 to 14 yrs including aerial hoop, aerial silks, aerial lollipop, static trapeze, aerial LED sphere, pole, spinning plates, poi, hula hoop, diabolo and acro 🙂
£25 per child for 5 hours of fun, they will certainly sleep well afterwards.
Parents do not need to stay with the children on this day, unless you want to of course 😘

Fire Play Workshops

🔥 Looking to add some fire to your life? 🔥 Our fire play workshops will provide you with the skills you need to create your own amazing fire manipulation performance!
@sofiaadams will build your confidence and develop your skills whilst providing you with the expert techniques and safety knowledge you’ll need to start performing this unique art.
You will learn how to flow with the fire sticks, how to allow the fire to connect with your hands, arms and tongue, how to extinguish a fire stick with your mouth, and learn a fun fire routine that you can perform individually and within your group.
This workshop is open to non-students as well as Addictive Fitness students and suitable for age 18+

💙 Please note that we had some confusion on “who” could perform at our last showcase. The answer is anyone who takes classes at our studio. Therefore, it’s open to those who are there 4 times a week AND anyone who only comes to AF for a specific disciple… such as heels or stretch. Also open to anyone who trains at various studios alongside AF.

As long as you currently attend our classes in some way, we’d love to have you perform.
