Static Trapeze is a piece of apparatus containing two ropes with a bar (which is wrapped in tape) joining them at the bottom and is rigged on the truss system.
Under careful instruction, you’ll learn how to perform a variety of shapes, elegant poses, balances and transitions on the trapeze. As you improve you will learn more dynamic tricks and swings to create jaw-dropping routines, we can even teach some really cool doubles tricks that will be sure to impress your family and friends.
Static Trapeze is a full-body workout, building strength and stamina but mainly focuses on improving your core muscles and upper body strength. With each class, you will feel more confident, strong, and amazed by what your body can do.
Static Trapeze is a great way to improve your mental health, many students find that the concentration required in learning an aerial skill is very mindful.
Open to complete beginners as well as more experienced aerialists, any fitness level from age 5 to adults (the moves will be tailored to each person’s ability).
When attending these classes, please ensure no jewellery is worn. It is advised to wear long-sleeved tops and leggings.
This discipline is offered in private sessions and ad hoc workshops only, we do not offer this as a regular open class. Private sessions are available as 1-1’s, small groups, larger groups and party bookings for birthdays and hen parties.
